Management Team EDWIN
JOSEPH Edwin Joseph founded Great Atlantic in 1963. He made significant contributions to the region spanning a period of over 40 years. His commitment to helping people led him to be called on to serve on many boards and committees, including heading the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Red Cross, Boy Scouts, Economic Development Council, and Virginia Resource Authority. He received numerous awards for community service including an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Christopher Newport University for leadership in economic and cultural activities.
