AUBREY LAYNE, JR.
President, Principal Broker

Mr. Layne has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Richmond and is a Certified Public Accountant.  He received his MBA with a concentration in International Business from Old Dominion University.  He is responsible for the operations and administration of Great Atlantic's property management functions.  His responsibilities include operational activities, new business acquisition, capital improvement strategy, as well as banking and investor relationships.  Before joining Great Atlantic, Mr. Layne was with Hofheimers, Inc. for ten years, most recently as President.  Mr. Layne is a registered real estate broker in Virginia and North Carolina and serves as the firm's principal broker.  He is also a Registered Apartment Manager(R.A.M.).
